Yesterday was a beautiful day to break ground on the new Spring ISD Roberson Middle School. The facility, designed by Huckabee Architects, is the first to kick off in the District’s 2016 bond program. The ceremony included words from Board President Rhonda Newhouse, Superintendent Dr. Rodney Watson, and Roberson’s Principal Tracey Walker. After “turning the dirt” attendees signed a rendering to be displayed at the completed facility. The new 156,500 SF school will house approximately 800 students and will be located on a 22-acre site near FM 1960, on the intersection of Veterans Memorial and West Richey Road.
