City of Bryan Justice Center
Architect: Brinkley Sargent Wiginton
Combining aesthetic appeal with state-of-the-art function, S&P built this multipurpose facility for the City of Bryan, which had outgrown its existing facilities. At 63,000 SF, the spacious new structure is designed to accommodate the city’s needs for decades. It houses two courtrooms, four holding cells and the city police headquarters, incorporating the most advanced security features throughout, including detention glazings for windows and other security hardware features. Other touches include terrazzo floors, interior granite features and substantial millwork. The complex was honored with an ICE Excellence in Construction Award from Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.
