Bellaire High School Addition and Renovations
The Bellaire High School Additions and Renovations project included construction of a new 53,539 SF science wing and renovations to the existing school building. The $11.3 million project provides much needed additional labs and classrooms and relieves crowded conditions at the school built in 1955. During preconstruction, S&P’s CMAR team provided Gensler with detailed constructability review comments supporting the interface between the existing building and the new addition on all three floors.
On the existing building, S&P provided interior upgrades and renovations that include improvements to technology, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire and safety systems.
