Groundbreaking ceremonies took place here at 3:30 p.m. on November 10 to kick off construction of the new 18,500 square foot Allcare Medical Plaza at 5860 Ranch Lake Boulevard. Manatee County Commissioner Vanessa Baugh and project owners Drs. Matthew and Doris Nessetti of Allcare Medical Center spoke at the ceremony.

With Allcare’s business tripling in size over the past three years, the center needed to relocate to a larger space to accommodate its tremendous growth. Allcare Medical Center will occupy the building’s second floor and will offer family medicine, gynecology and behavior health services.

The new Class A two-story building is being built on the 1.5-acre site by Satterfield & Pontikes Construction’s Sarasota office. The $2.85 million project is designed by Zoller Associates Architects & Interior Designers of Sarasota. The facility will provide administrative and doctor’s consultation offices, mental health offices, exam rooms, nursing stations, procedure rooms, conference room, physical therapy clinic space, and urgent care-specific waiting area and clinician office.
