John S. Marshall

John Marshall is a key member of the executive management team that directs and manages all Satterfield & Pontikes activities. He is responsible for all sales, marketing and business development, setting the strategic direction for external relations and planning for the $500+ million company. Among his areas of expertise are market intelligence, client management, strategic alliances and community involvement. The success of his efforts is self-evident: since joining S&P in 2003, revenues have increased more than threefold.
Mr. Marshall is very active in a number of industry associations including sitting on the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston as well as serving as a National Trustee for the ABC PAC. He is also an active board member for the Construction Industry Advisory Council at Louisiana State University, a member of the Small Business Advisory Board for the Port of Houston Authority, and plays an active role in fundraising efforts for the Gulf Coast Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Prior to joining S&P, Mr. Marshall was a director for the Fluor Corporation, where he headed a strategically important pilot study of world-class business and competitive intelligence development. Before that, he was a staff member for the US House of Representatives, Committee on Rules.
