Satterfield and Pontikes Construction, Inc. (S&P) is proud to be a member of the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE). We partner with ACCE accredited universities throughout the U.S. in order to find our next great builders. We currently partner with schools such as Texas A&M, Purdue, LSU, University of Houston, Texas State, and UL Monroe.

Not only does S&P provide New Graduate opportunities throughout the year, be we also offer great Internships that are facilitated by some of the industry’s leading construction professionals. Interns have the opportunity to work and develop skills to complement their education and be successful in today’s dynamic construction industry.

How do I apply?

Click on the job position you would like to apply for. The job posting will open in a new page. Click apply and complete a candidate profile and upload your CV or resume file to our online applicant system.

Do I need work authorization?

Yes. While it’s at the discretion of each business unit to sponsor a candidate or not, due to the cost associated with the process it is unlikely that a department will sponsor a candidate if equal talent can be found locally.

Will you contact me regarding the status of my submission?

Given the quantity of resumes we receive, we’re unfortunately not able to contact people individually with specific feedback. However, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your submission. No phone calls, please.

What is the application review process?

Once you apply online, your qualifications and background will be considered. In some cases, you may receive an email or phone call to further explore your credentials. Otherwise, you will only be contacted if you are selected for a phone screen or onsite interview. Please note that due to the high volume of applications, it may be some time before final decisions are made. We appreciate your patience.

What if I am selected to interview?

Candidates who are selected to move forward in the process will be contacted to schedule a phone or onsite interview. If you are selected for an interview, please be prepared to discuss your experience, skills, interests, and accomplishments.

What should I expect after my interview?

Our interview and decision process can vary by business units and locations. Be sure to ask your recruiter about the process, when they anticipate a hiring decision, and when you should expect to hear from them next.

What is the selection and offer process?

Collaborative efforts and specific criteria related to the position help us select the most qualified candidates for our open positions. If selected for a position, an offer is extended and you’ll receive a job offer email. You can discuss questions and deadlines with your recruiter at any time. Our offer letters contain information on the position, salary, location, and start date. Details for your background check and drug screening will be provided once you’ve accepted the offer. If you are not selected to receive an offer, the recruiter will notify you and provide relevant and available information about the decision.
