Anjy Salinas
Chief Financial Officer
Anjy Salinas is responsible for directing operations of the accounting and IT departments for S&P. Her accounting and financial duties include directing timely financial reporting to internal and external sources, A/P and A/R, payroll, internal controls, personnel management and staffing, and training. In addition, she is tasked with overseeing business continuity and disaster recovery for IT operations.
Ms. Salinas’ talents were recognized early on at S&P, and she has risen quickly though the ranks to positions of steadily increasing responsibilities. She began her S&P career in preconstruction services, successfully applying Building Information Modeling to projects, including S&P’s award-winning, LEED Gold headquarters building. With a preference and special proclivity for numbers, she was soon tagged by then-CFO Laura Pontikes to take a leading role in managing S&P financial concerns.
Ms. Salinas brings six years of experience to oversee these key S&P operations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Houston, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas, and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston. In addition, she serves on the board of directors of the Construction Financial Management Association.
