Established in 1989, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. is a general contractor with offices in Louisiana and Texas with projects throughout the Gulf Coast. S&P is recognized as one of Engineering News-Record's "Top 400 Contractors," and ranks near the top of Texas Construction's "General Building Contractors," and Houston Business Journal's "Top 25 Commercial Building Contractors." S&P's commitment to sustainable construction has earned them a spot on Engineering News-Record's “Top 50 Green Builders” in America, as well as recognition as one of the “Top 10 Green Builders in Texas” by the Houston Business Journal. Building its reputation on quality work and reliable delivery, S&P completed over $268 million in work in 2007 and is projecting to put in place $325 million of work for 2008.

Experience
The firm has successfully undertaken and completed larger and more complex projects. As a general contractor, S&P has compiled a solid résumé of numerous project types including educational, institutional, commercial, entertainment, manufacturing, retail, disaster relief, and airport support facilities. S&P regularly self-performs 20% or more of project work including the concrete work and a great deal of the site work, providing us more control during the early stage of projects - where it matters most. The firm has also begun using Virtual Design and Construction for our projects, increasing that early control exponentially and providing the Owner with even greater certainty of successful project delivery.
